Amazon has the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Chaos Rising Booster Display Box available to pre-order for $344.44, although that’s not the cheapest option. Walmart offers the same 36-pack box for $238.99, while TCGplayer’s lowest unopened presale listing is $245.87 shipped.

Amazon is finally taking preorders for the Pokémon TCG’s anticipated Chaos Rising expansion, including the 36-pack Display Box. However, this convenience comes with a note. As of April 28, Amazon lists the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Chaos Rising Booster Display Box for preorder at $344.44 with free shipping, sold by Collectors Expedition. Delivery is shown for May 28-29, a week after the expansion’s release.

Amazon’s prices are much higher than preorders elsewhere. For example, Walmart’s price is $238.99 with free shipping, making it $105.45 cheaper. TCGplayer’s unopened presale listings start at $245.87 with shipping included, while the market price is $241.56. Compared to TCGplayer’s lowest price, Amazon is $98.57 more expensive.

The Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Chaos Rising Booster Display Box includes 36 booster packs, totaling over 120 cards. Amazon’s $344.44 preorder comes to about $9.57 per pack. Walmart’s $238.99 listing is about $6.64 per pack, while TCGplayer’s is around $6.83 per pack. The expansion features new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Trainer cards, and special illustrations.
